Alpha is an opportunity to explore life and the Christian faith, in a friendly, open and informal environment.
A shared meal begins the session which allows people to get to know each other. This is followed by a video covering a different topic each week. Afterwards everyone comes together in a small group to discuss the video topic. These are opportunities to listen, learn, discuss and discover the aspects of the Christian Faith.
Alpha is for everyone and anyone. The beauty of Alpha is that there are no questions that are out of bounds. You can discuss anything about life, faith and God. There’s no obligation to say anything; it’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective.
Alpha began in the Selwyn Parish on 16 March 2023. We look forward to running it again so check in later in the year for more details about our next programme.
